पत्रकारिता में करीब ढाई दशक का अनुभव रखने वाले पीयूष देश के उन चुनिंदा पत्रकारों में हैं, जिन्हें प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, वेब मीडिया के साथ फिल्मी दुनिया में काम करने का खासा अनुभव है और उनकी पहचान उनका वर्सेटाइल होना ही है। इतना ही नहीं, पीयूष की एक पहचान व्यंग्यकार की भी है। उनके तीन व्यंग्य संग्रह 'छिछोरेबाजी का रिजोल्यूशन' 2012 में राजकमल प्रकाशन से और फिर 'धंधे मातरम' 2017 में, कबीरा बैठा डिबेट में 2020 में प्रभात प्रकाशन से प्रकाशित हो चुका है। फेसबुक पर उनके वन लाइनर खासे चर्चित हैं। इसके बाद, इस साल उनकी चौथी किताब ‘कुछ पाने की जिद- मनोज वाजपेयी’ ने मार्केट में दस्तक दी, जो अभिनेता मनोज बाजपेयी की बायोग्राफी है। इस किताब को पेंगुइन इंडिया ने प्रकाशित किया है।
